Introducing the Milwaukee County Data Dashboard

The creation and public release of this dashboard is a continuation of the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office commitment to provide the people we serve with information that measures how we are performing the critical mission of protecting the community in a way that respects and protects the rights and dignity of victims and offenders alike.

This is an ongoing commitment, the data reflected here is just the first of many data points that we intend to release to allow the public to see how we measure the work we do in a values based organization. Milwaukee County has made a strong commitment to addressing systemic problems through a lens of racial equity. This office has had the same commitment since 2007.

My hope is that this approach will be adopted not just in the criminal justice system but also integrated in other areas like public health, education and economic opportunity so that we can achieve the goal of having a safe, healthy and prosperous community for everyone
